L-up is thrilled to be part of the ELENA project that officially kicked off on 10 and 11 February!
ELENA is a 42-month collaborative Research and Innovation Action funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme (Grant number 101016138).
The project promises to benefit the entire photonics sector by developing the first European lithium niobate on insulator (LNOI)-based platform for photonic integrated circuits (PICs). It also will establish the first open-access foundry service for the LNOI technology, for which it intends to set up a fully European supply chain.
The ELENA partnership – ranging from research bodies to industry – is looking forward to delivering exciting new LNOI PIC solutions. L-up’s role is to support project management as well as communication and dissemination.
You can follow ELENA on LinkedIn #H2020-ELENA and soon also on www.project-elena.eu.
